Smug, dishonest with crisp shirts, shiny shoes and stuffy offices. Estate agents are among the world’s least-trusted professions alongside lawyers and even worse… bankers. As more and more people turn to DIY agent options like Purple Bricks, Orchards needed a campaign that heroes the face-to-face agent.

IDEA

Challenged with a cost-effective approach, our typographic campaign laughs in the face of estate agent stereotypes. Just like that, The Honest Estate Agent was born. A bold and brave campaign aimed to reshape people’s perceptions of estate agents.

IMPACT

The campaign won ‘Gold’ at the Drum Roses Awards. 147,737 impressions. 4,108 click throughs. 76,167 reach. Nice result.

HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY

Honest, simple, disruptive. Our typographic led campaign featured a playful tone of voice that’s so honest, even the ugly parts shine through. We social campaign targeted people who had used keywords such as ‘property’, ‘mortgage loans’ and ‘house-hunting’. Each execution was A/B tested to determine which ads, colours, CTA’s worked best for which audience, allowing us to hone the next phase’s creative and messaging to be as engaging and cost-effective as possible.

KERB APPEAL

Each carousel ad connected people to a unique landing page that related to the messaging they were served, encouraging people to book an honest evaluation. A number of 6-sheet posters were also created and placed in surrounding areas bringing Orchard’s playful tone to life in the community.
